Off-payroll workers and Budget 2019 Update
Budget 2018 included significant changes, to be introduced from April 2020, in respect of the taxation of workers engaged off-payroll and specifically relevant to the use of personal service companies (PSCs). Employers will be required to identify, liaise with relevant third parties and assess the employment status of individuals who are providing a personal service to the business via PSC arrangements.
Finance Bill 2019 will encompass the legislative measures, which will dictate the necessary compliance measures. We will focus on the practical requirements as they apply to HR, Tax, Legal, Procurement and other relevant stakeholders.
This module will also include an overview of the employment taxes changes announced in Budget 2019.
