The modern mobile workforce
Our second module will focus on the challenges presented to employers from the emergence of flexible working practices that have become common place across many sectors of both UK and global industry.
Working from home, remote working, flexible working hours, nationally and internationally mobile workforces and attracting and retaining the Generation Z and millennial talent have all brought a raft of tax and NIC consequences. With the government and HMRC often slow to react to such change, employers are often left to form their own positions in these areas whilst they await relevant guidance.
During the day we will cover the more common issues that arise from these modern working practices, including the ever more globally mobile nature of the workforce, and share our knowledge and experience as to how employers should be treating each particular scenario in order to manage the associate risk.

- Finance, Reward, Payroll and HR professionals who hold responsibility for the integrity of employee compensation and benefits in kind taxation.
- Staff involved in checking the accuracy of income tax and social security payments and returns to HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC), such as P11Ds, PAYE Settlement Agreements and online shares reporting.
