Preparing for the change of tax year
The end of one tax year and the beginning of the next brings about an array of different employer reporting obligations. It is also the trigger for the updating of systems and processes to reflect changes in rates, allowances, bands and tax legislation.
Our first module of the calendar year will focus on the employer obligations that tax year end generates and the opportunities that the next tax year brings.
In addition to running through the regular employment tax annual filings for pay and benefits, this module will also cover a number of obligations, which can often get overlooked, in the area of pay governance such as National Minimum Wage, Holiday Pay and Gender Pay which are receiving increased focus from HMRC and the regulatory bodies.
We will also cover the tasks that can be completed prior to 5th April to help simplify year end reporting as well as save time and resource in the Spring.
